Take a full picture approach and create with me, through my lens. From the first time I picked up my dad’s old film Nikon FG-20 (built in the 80’s and still working like a charm), I knew this was my calling.
Light, movement, texture– the way it comes together in a single moment to tell a story– it’s the way my eye was wired to see. Over the past decade I’ve had the pleasure of working in so many beautiful places. From communities to kitchens to far flung travels, I’ve followed my lens– forsaking trends and sticking to the way I am pulled to create.
Working with both digital and 35 mm film, I shoot with all natural and ambient light– my way of capturing the world as people see it. As we feel it.
The brands and publications I work with feel that, too.
I offer a holistic approach to creating– a definition that changes with the needs of each client. Sometimes that means I’m back in the kitchen fine-tuning a dish. Scouring shops to find just the right props to set a scene. Road tripping to stumble upon the perfect shoot setting. Staying overnight at hotels, working during dinner service, immersing myself in-store with customers– settling in to observe, be part of the experience and tell the story.
A feeling, captured in a frame.
